Double Barrel Steak at The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort ("Double Barrel Steak," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit dbsteak.com, make a reservation, contact us, apply for a job, or sign up for news — and how we use and safeguard it.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to serve you well:
- Reservations. When you book a table, our reservation partner OpenTable collects your name, contact details, party size, date, time, and any notes or preferences you add. These bookings are handled in OpenTable's system under their privacy policy.
- Forms you submit. When you use our contact, private-event inquiry, or employment forms (powered by Gravity Forms), we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone, event details, or résumé.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email (and name, if given) through Mailchimp to send news about menus, wine dinners, and special evenings.
- Gift cards. Gift cards are purchased on our partner site, preservegiftshop.com, which handles payment and billing information under its own privacy policy. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Automatically. Like most websites, we log basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links — and use cookies and analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.
How we use your information
- To confirm and manage your reservations and respond to your inquiries.
- To review and follow up on employment applications.
- To send the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To operate, improve, and secure our website.
- To meet legal, tax, and safety obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the restaurant and this site — including OpenTable (reservations), Gravity Forms / our website host (form submissions), Mailchimp (email), our gift-card partner, and analytics and spam-prevention tools. Each processes data on our behalf or under its own policy. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our guests and team. As part of The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort, limited information may be shared within the resort to coordinate your visit.
Cookies & analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to remember preferences, keep the site working, and measure traffic. Embedded content (such as the reservation widget, maps, menus, or videos) may set its own cookies and collect data as if you had visited those sites directly. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Your choices & rights
- Email. Unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails.
- Access & deletion. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it — except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or security reasons.

How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — to honor reservations, answer inquiries, consider applications, and meet our legal obligations — then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for guests 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
